Philadelphia Grand Jury have probably seen more of this country than any other band in it. So they’ve decided to get the hell out of the country and start conquering somewhere else. That’s right folks the beloved Philly Jays are packing up and moving to UK!!
But before they go we’ll get one more slice of the PGJ pie with the new ‘I Don’t Want To Party (Party)’ single and a farewell tour!! ‘I Don’t Want To Party (Party)’ is a live favourite taken off the J Award nominated album ‘Hope Is For Hopers’ and it’s joined by three exclusive tracks. There is a disco remix of Philadelphia Grand Jury album track ‘Wet Winter Holiday‘ by Mike FWD, a solo track by lead singer and producer Berkfinger called ‘Jimmy At The Whorehouse‘ and a hip-hop funk jam called ‘Both Kinds Of Music’ written, sung and produced by the band’s new drummer Calvin.
You’ll be able to grab it from iTunes on March 22nd!
To celebrate the single The Philly Jays will be shipping off around OZ for all of April on the ‘We Don’t Want To Party (Party)’ Tour supported by The John Steel Singers.
