This year CONVERSE turns 100 years old. Cons have always been associated with and worn by optimistic "rebels" in the fields of music, sport, art & culture. Cons wearers are said to be passionate about doing things their own way, people who follow their heart, are original, creative and true to themselves.

And to celebrate its 100th year, CONVERSE have just launched a powerful and iconic global campaign "Connectivity" - which sees Cons partnering with a range of global icons, local heroes & rising stars! Icons include James Dean, M.I.A., Karen O, Hunter S Thompson, Sid Vicious, Joan Jett and our very own PhDJ. PhDJ features with other local heros like Darren Cordeux (Kisschasy) and designers Wayne Cooper & Jamie Blakely (One Teaspoon).

For all of you up in Bris-vegas, PhDJ is taking the night off from Purple Sneakers to come party with you for ONE NIGHT ONLY and its all going down at OUR HOUSE! Head to the The Empire Corner Bar THIS Friday 4th April! PhDJ will be pumping out 2 massive sets and will be joined by good friends of ours, Brisbane's own Van vs Cons!

This Thursday be sure to head down to Sydney Uni's Manning Bar for their annual "Beachball" party featuring our very own PhDJ & Purple Sneakers DJs playing along side Van She, bluejuice, Damn Arms, The Potbelleez, Bag Raiders, Kato AND HEAPS MORE! 

The courtyard was packed, energy was high and the drinks were flowing. WONS PHREELY and BLUEJUICE electrified the crowd and some lucky punters went home with a shiny new pair of Converse Chuck Taylors (see 'Chuck Yer Chucks' for more info!). Check out some pics from the night below..
