The Playground Weekender is back at Del Rio Resort in Wiseman's Ferry from 7th to 9th March 2008. Acts playing this yeah include Ian Brown (Stone Roses), Maximo Park, bLuejuice, The Wombats, The Holidays, The Devoted Few, Josh Pyke, Dappled Cities & Dardanelles with more to be announced.
Our friends at the Playground Weekender have kindly offered us 3 double passes to give away. To be in with a chance to WIN, tell us your funniest weekend adventure story. The winner will have their tale published in next week's newsletter. Send your answers to info@boundarysounds.com

Picture This.....
Picture this... You're 20 years old, you've just completed three years of graphic design studies, and you've already been freelancing for the past two years, designing for Sydney bands and night clubs. You've seen some of the world. And now you're painting in preparation for your first solo exhibition at China Heights gallery in Sydney.
An artist's dream?
Well, this is what Sydney artist/graphic designer, Adam Turnbull, is doing right now. ‘Picture This' is the name of Adam's upcoming exhibition, and it's his way of documenting pop culture today, while expressing his personal experience of the effects of music.
The exhibition is split into three ranges of paintings; portraits, objects and day dreams.
Adam's portraits of Australian musicians explore colour and its relationship with sound. With flat line drawing and carefully selected colour schemes expresses each musician's personality and music as we see and hear it, making the portraits instantly recognisable to anyone who knows their music.
Also painted in Adams distinct style, are the objects we use with music as well as a series based on the fact that when we listen to or watch music we tend to drift off into another reality, some other surreal world.
‘Picture This' is the name of Adam Turnbull's solo exhibition which will be held at China Heights Gallery L3, 16-28 Foster St Surry Hills Sydney, Opening night is Friday the 8th of February from 6pm - 9pm and will continue until Sunday the 10th of February.
