Purple Sneakers NYE House Party takes the idea of having a simple celebration in your very own house to welcome in the new year and then blows it out by about 100,000,000!!  From its birth at the Abercrombie Hotel way back in 2005 it has rapidly grown from those humble beginnings to last year’s mammoth sized event that saw party goers fill the halls at Sydney Uni’s Manning House.

Over the years Purple Sneakers NYE House Party has featured international acts such as The Teenagers (FRA), The Boxer Rebellion (UK), Frightened Rabbit (UK), Ponytail (USA), Baddies (UK) and Le Tigre DJ, JD Samson (USA).  They joined Aussie acts The Grates, Philadelphia Grand Jury, Yves Klein Blue, bLuejuice, Sparkadia, British India, Young & Restless,  DZ, Astronomy Class, Purple Sneakers DJs and heaps more who helped ring the bells for the New Year.
