This week Sneakers was almost a little bit too much fun. As if having MICHAEL SHUMAN from QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE as our special guest DJ wasn't enough PhDJ decided to throw his very own homecoming party where he was joined behind the decks by TOKI DOKI and KILL THE LANDLORD. Chucked into the mix was new kid on the Sneakers block MEDUSA.

Purple Sneakers NYE House Party was off the hook featuring sets from international acts such as BADDIES, PONYTAIL and THE BOXER REBELLION! Local acts THE GRATES and PHILADELPHIA GRAND JURY brought in the new year with a bang, and PHDJ, SHAZAM, FRANKI CHAN & PURPLE SNEAKERS DJS & more kept the dance floor pumping until the early morning!

It was a sad night at Sneakers as we farewelled one of the most special members of the Purple Sneakers family, Purple Sneakers promoter Tim Poulton! The good bye tunes were spun by new kids on the decks SLVGR DCTQH & CONRAD and regulars PHDJ, NICK FINDLAY, BENLUCID & WALKIE TALKIE!

What happens when VAMPIRE WEEKEND come to DJ at Sneakers? One of the biggest crowds Sneakers has ever seen that's what!! With a line that stretched almost to The Claire the folks that got in were treated to DJ sets from JANE GAZZO, PHDJ, CLARENCE DOES RADIO, NICK FINDLAY, THIRSTY DEDDS & JENNY PENNY (NY).

The evil eyes were placed at the door to ward of the bad luck of Friday 13th but as it turns out Purple Sneakers is untouchable by anything except PARTY! Especially when MAXIMO PARK hits the deck for a DJ set!! Joining them were PhDJ, THIRSTY DEDDS, NIC YORKE, BENLUCID, NICK FINDLAY & LOS 3DJS.

Last Friday brought it all upon the Abercrombie dancefloor. And when we say all we mean the whole shabang! Babes, bands, punks, hipsters, sweat, spilt drinks and just a wee bit of puke. Keeping the joint heaving were the RED RIDERS DJS, THIRSTY DEEDS, NICK FINDLAY, M.I.T, THE RAPIDS, DEXTER RAMONE and MONKEY.
